Below are some of the milestones and significant successes in the history of FOCS and our ongoing mission to protect Clayoquot Sound from industrial exploitation:
FOCS and five other groups working to protect Clayoquot’s intact valleys form Clayoquot Sound Steering Committee, later renamed Clayoquot Sound Conservation Alliance. Discussions continue with First Nations about protecting intact valleys via conservation investment.
