Meares Island Tribal Park 30th anniversary and Earth Week

Easter 2014 marks the 30th anniversary of the Mears Island Tribal Park declaration, a vision that has grown to encompass all Tla-o-qui-aht territories and not only embodies conservation but also a vision for the future. Earth Week is an ideal time to reflect on tribal parks and encourage people to think about all aspects of conservation. Many groups in and around Tofino will use this opportunity to engage, educate, and entertain on issues pertinent to our environment. Guranteed to be a fun and interesting week come out and join us! Visit the Tofino Community Calendar for an up to date list of events and venues!
