Intro to Plant Identification in Clayoquot Sound
Ever wonder what that beautiful flower is you saw while hiking in the spring? Or if the berries abundant on that bush are edible?
Matt Harris will be sharing his knowledge and education gained from experience conducting vegetation assessments on disturbed lands in Alberta and work in the Tofino Botanical Gardens to provide practical insight on how to identify native plants for leisurely interest in Clayoquot Sound.
The workshop will be followed by optional days at the Tofino Botanical Gardens to practice plant identification in the field.
