Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Wah-Nah-Jus/Hilth-hoo-is (Meares Island) tribal park

On April 20th (Easter Sunday) join Tla-o-qui-aht, FOCS, Tofino Councilors, and members of Ahousaht as we celebrate conservation and the 30th anniversary of the Wah-Nah-Jus/Hilth-hoo-is (Meares Island) tribal park. Discover how the vision has grown. Bring your family for this fun Sunday event! The event will include food, activities for children, commemorative presentations, and a dynamic representation of the vision forwards. Special guests include (check back for more soon):
  • Tla-o-qui-aht Chief Councillor Mosses Martin
  • Tofino Mayor Josie Osborne
  • Veterans of '84 including Micheal Mullin and Joe Martin
  • Weeping Cedar Woman
